FABRIC | JOHN STEFANIDIS

Udaiphur

Lately, I've been looking for something different. Something to get excited about. I can usually find inspiration from fabrics, but it's been a while. Not since Kathryn Ireland's Mexico meets Morocco or Peter Dunham's divine fabric collections came on the scene, have I been quite so interested in a decorator's line of fabrics. Until, discovering the fabrics of John Stefanidis. Of course, these fabrics are not new... but they appear fresh to my eye. They have a timeless aesthetic with a sixties or seventies twist that just appeals to me. Stefanidis has seven fabric collections in total: Abigail, Bejing, Bizarre, Carnival, Claudia, Japanese, and Passepartout. Here are some of my favorites:

Flowers

Mahal

Chinese Clouds

Mahal

Josephine

Esrajim Stripe

Jaisilmir

Forest

Carnival

Fishbones

Claudia

Butnair

Puccini

Diamonds

You will also find great inspiration in his new book: An Island Sanctuary {A House in Greece}. It's the story of his discovery of Patmos and creating the most authentic and delightful island house.
