ANTIQUES ON NINE | KENNEBUNK SHOPPING

One of my favorite places to shop is Antiques on Nine in Kennebunk, Maine. It's 12,000 feet of old, new and unique things including: American and European furniture, garden accessories, decorative objects, paintings, and much more. Plan to spend an hour here before heading a few minutes east into charming Kennebunkport.

Antiques on Nine is located at 81 Western Avenue/Rte. 9 in Kennebunk, Maine
Tel: 207-967-0626

Another 5 minutes beyond Kennebunkport, you will come to Cape Porpoise where there are a couple of restaurants on the dock. The perfect post-shopping treat just might be the wonderful shoestring onion rings and a beer at The Ramp, where you can breathe in the ocean air and see the lighthouse beyond this charming Maine cove.

Also visit Snug Harbor Farm {just before Antiques on Nine}

  1. Hi Barbara; I wish I could transport myself to Maine. I suspect I wouldn't want to leave. I miss the ocean; the smell, the boats, sand the seafood. Although we're not far from the ocean here it just isn't the same for me growing up on the West Coast. I could spend a day in that magnificent antique store. There is something so romantic about the sea. Oddly enough I have a huge fascination with

    ships only to marry Graham who designed them! Such a great post. Wishing you a happy Wednesday my friend xo

  2. My mom LOOOVES Antiques on the Nine. We were just in KPT for Labor Day! We went over to Cape Porpoise by The Ramp and enjoyed the view.
