I love spring in New England and scouting-out summer looks in anticipation of beach days. It's foggy at the moment and drizzling, but I can smell the ocean and hear the pounding surf—soothing reminders of summer days to-come!

You know B. I try to love summer in the South- it is just TOO hot for me. New England sounds as if it would suit me better. pgt
ReplyDeleteLA, you would LOVE it - especially here at the beach. It's divine to ride a bike around and smell the honeysuckle and roses. Come visit anytime! ; )
ReplyDeletesummer in new england. sounds idyllic. i spent 5 or 6 summers in virginia, and it was awesome. loved even the high heat and humidity. but, california summers are quite the deal, too. now, barb, if i can just find a straw hat to fit my bald dome!
ReplyDeleteJg., They are idyllic! You don't know summer unless you spend time from June - August in the northeast!! Seriously. Come visit any time... I'll find a straw hat for you!
ReplyDeleteLove your picks. I love summer before it gets too too hot - when it still cools off at night and yet you have that lovely long summer light - down on the wall at the beach with a drink at sunset!!
