I call upon you to draw from the depths of your being — to prove that we are a human race, to prove that our love outweighs our need to hate, that our compassion is more compelling than our need to blame. ~ Elizabeth Taylor
She will be greatly missed. I was furious with Yahoo for making a major mistake in her obituary. When listing her most important movie roles, they included Sweet Bird of Youth and that she played an aging ingenue, the role was actually played by Geraldine Page.
Hi, thanks so much for stopping by my blog..now I got to come by yours..its great! I love Elizabeth, she will be sorely missed but she left behind the greatest gift of all...a treasure trove of incredible films that generations to come will get to remember her by. Beautiful....I loved and respected her non judgemental ways and her true compassion for others.
Beautiful shots for a beautiful woman inside and out. She will certainly be sorely missed. One of the all time classic beauties!
ReplyDeleteThe last star, I think,

Viv, I did not catch that... but yes, an infuriating mistake! Not sure how Taylor and Page could be mistaken for each other?!
ReplyDeleteLisa, I love it too, and it flows from her honesty and compassion and love for others. ox
