This FEED pouch and FEED tote available now at Lord & Taylor celebrate the traditional craft of Guatemala, while generating funding to support UNICEF. According to UNICEF, Guatemala has one of the worst nutritional conditions in the region. With any pouch or bag purchased, Lord & Taylor will donate $3.50 {cost of pouch, $19}, and $10.50 {cost of tote, $39} to the U.S. Fund for UNICEF in Guatemala. A home food fortification powder will be distributed that provides vitamins, iron, folic acid and zinc—all the nutrients required for healthy physical and cognitive development in children ages 6 months to 5 years. The FEED Guatemala bags are made by Nest, a nonprofit organization that empowers female artists and artists from around the world. The zippered pouch is the perfect size {8.5" W x 5" H} and holds everything necessary for our lucky summer trips to farm-stands and flea markets. Please support the FEED program.

  1. What a cute bag, for a tremendous cause & made by a talented, good organization. I swear I walked by a NEST gallery in Austin? These days however, hard to trust my memory? Barbara thanks for posting this. UNICEF is one org. that you know you can trust and makes great strides for children. Did you know it's been around longer than even me? Sending you all my best wishes for a sunny, warm weekend Barbara. Hope it's a long, relaxing one for you. xxx deb
